1. Promoter and acceptance
The offer is made by The Digital Hive (NZ) 2024 Ltd (trading as The Digital Hive). Acceptance is subject to a written project proposal and signed service terms.
2. Eligible competitor quotes
A quote must be genuine, verifiable, dated within 30 days, from an independent NZ professional website agency, and cover a materially comparable website. Publicly advertised packages qualify only where inclusions and current prices can be verified.
3. Price comparison
The 5% reduction applies to the comparable one-off website design/build component only, excluding GST, hosting, domain names, paid software, third-party fees, SEO, advertising, support and ongoing services. We may request scope clarification before issuing an offer.
4. Scope, exclusions and availability
Minimum eligible competitor build value: NZ$3,000 + GST. Bespoke apps, complex e-commerce, extensive data migrations and projects with materially different scope require separate assessment. We may decline work we cannot deliver responsibly; no price-beat commitment arises until we confirm eligibility in writing.
5. Website for Life eligibility
The original website must be designed/built by The Digital Hive and remain continuously on our paid managed hosting plan. Every three years from the initial website launch, eligible clients may request one like-for-like redesign with no additional design fee.
6. What a redesign includes
A refreshed design within the original agreed page count and broadly equivalent functionality, using existing or client-supplied content/assets. New pages, copywriting, photography, integrations, major functionality changes, e-commerce expansion and third-party charges are quoted separately.
7. Hosting changes and unused entitlements
If managed hosting is cancelled, suspended for non-payment or moved away, future complimentary redesign eligibility ends. Redesigns are not cash-redeemable, transferable or carried forward. Hosting fees remain payable during the relationship.
8. Other conditions
The price-beat offer cannot be combined with other discounts unless agreed in writing. We may change or withdraw this offer for future enquiries, without altering signed commitments. Consumer rights and obligations under applicable NZ law remain unaffected.
